Grandparents Mornings

It has been lovely to welcome Grandparents into Loreto Convent once again this week. The two mornings commenced with Mass celebrated by Mon. Paul Bear. In the Palm Tree playground each year group performed a song whilst Grandparents enjoyed refreshments.

Childline Blue Week Launched

Loreto Convent School was privileged that Childline Gibraltar launched their annual Blue Week in an assembly on Monday 14th March.    Childline representative Ines gave a presentation to years 5 & 6. Victorian Day

On Friday, Year 6 at Loreto Convent School went back in time and endured a ‘horribly’ realistic day in the life of a Victorian school child. Pupils and teachers immersed themselves in the experience and looked very authentic in Victorian attire. This week a small group of children from Year 5 & 6 performed at the Gibraltar Festival for Young Musicians. They were asked to sing two contrasting songs to enter this category which were speechless from Aladdin and The Grand Finale from Vivo. Using the internet safely and positively is a key message that we promote in school, and celebrating Safer Internet Day is a great opportunity for us to re-emphasise the online safety messages we deliver throughout the year.
